The latest Lexus is on sale now, with deliveries starting in January of next year.

The coupé comes in either RC 300h or RC 200t forms. The RC 300h comes with a hybrid 2.5-litre four-pot petrol engine and is available in F Sport, Premier or Luxury trim levels. The RC 200t is offered with the latest 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine and has either F Sport or Premier trim options.

The Audi TT is clearly the target here, with the pricing structure aiming to land between the TT and the TT S models.

The base trim is called Luxury which is a bit counter-intuitive. This is only available with the RC 300h and has a mass of standard fitments including LED headlights, sensors, drive-mode select system, leather, cruise control, heated seats, dual-zone climate control and a 7.0in multimedia screen. Prices start at £34,995.

The F Sport option adds adaptive variable suspension, multi-spoke 19in alloys, different LED lights and deep bumpers fore and aft. You get LFA-inspired instruments that change according to the drive mode chosen, as well as rain-sensing wipers, rear camera and lane assist.

Prices start at £36,495 for the RC 200t F Sport.

The top-trim Premier has different alloy wheels, premium navigation system, Mark Levinson audio system with 17 speakers, powered everything from seats to steering wheel adjustment, blind spot monitor, rear cross traffic alert and lane keeping assist. Price start at £39,495 for the RC 200T Premier.
