Based on a new platform and sharing a 65hp one-litre three-cylinder engine and an 86hp 1.2-litre four-pot unit with the Kia Picanto, both styling and quality are vastly improved. Lower, wider and longer than the old i10, this car, built in Turkey, rides like a model from the range above, and both petrol engines are silky smooth, if not overburdened with torque. The cabin materials and the seats are better quality than before.
