The menu features mussels, langoustines, winkles, oysters, cockles, brown crabs, scallops, winkles and clams in an inviting fruits de mer, but I opted for a fiery smoked mackerel salad with carrot, apple and peanuts.
For the main I tried whole dover sole, chargrilled with sea salt and lime, accompanied with new potatoes - this was delicious and fresh but also quite steep at £41.95 with no side of vegetables included. I finished with a deliciously creamy vanilla Cornish ice cream and fresh mint teas. Overall it was expensive but worth it.
