Warms the sole, eh?

Nick Cave celebrated the end of his world tour with a Ruinart-fuelled bash at Loulou’s with wife Susie’s fashion label The Vampire’s Wife and matchesfashion.com, plus some strange little Nick-illustrated cushions, brandished by a dancing Kylie Minogue and later found tucked under the arms of Alexa Chung and an Aperol-sipping Otis Ferry.

‘Accio cash’ was the order of the day at Save the Children’s Harry Potter-themed fundraising Winter Gala at Guildhall, where Helena Bonham Carter (thankfully not in Bellatrix Lestrange mode) wielded wands with the ever-charming Sir Mo Farah and Natasha Kaplinsky posed with an owl. What a hoot.
