Orange is the new black

New Bond Street

Sadly no biscuits were on offer at Louis Vuitton’s party for Vogue and Grace Coddington’s book GingerNutz, but the night was a feast for celebrity-hungry eyes, as Kate Moss and Adwoa Aboah reunited after their River Café love-in, Dominic Cooper pouted about and a very giggly Ruth Negga ran around all over the shop. Crumbs.

Presents of mind

Westminster

Eva Longoria was the girl with all the gifts as she hosted the 8th annual Global Gift Gala at the Corinthia, where a glittering Dame Joan Collins picked up the Philanthropic Award and Victoria Beckham spontaneously whipped off her own-label shoes, bag and earrings and put them up for auction, raising £20k. Warms the sole, eh?

Force Maje

Soho

A major Maje party kicked off at its Regent Street pop-up with Women for Women International and uber-cool poetress Greta Bellamacina, who roped in her siblings to make personalised baubles for pals Gala Gordon and Mary Charteris.

Cave rave

Mayfair

What’s a party without voodoo cushions? Nick Cave celebrated the end of his world tour with a Ruinart-fuelled bash at Loulou’s with wife Susie’s fashion label The Vampire’s Wife and matchesfashion.com, plus some strange little Nick-illustrated cushions, brandished by a dancing Kylie Minogue and later found tucked under the arms of Alexa Chung and an Aperol-sipping Otis Ferry.

Magic money

The City

‘Accio cash’ was the order of the day at Save the Children’s Harry Potter-themed fundraising Winter Gala at Guildhall, where Helena Bonham Carter (thankfully not in Bellatrix Lestrange mode) wielded wands with the ever-charming Sir Mo Farah and Natasha Kaplinsky posed with an owl. What a hoot.
