Laura Jackson beat the queues by nabbing three glasses of champagne while Nick Grimshaw and Jennifer Saunders comforted committee member James Norton, whose photo was left out of the brochure.

Festival pre-game never looked so glam: Kate Moss, Tilda Swinton and Keira Knightley sipped beer in a velvet-cushioned Vampire’s Wife tent backstage at All Points East, sneaking out for sweet potato fries with Susie Cave before Nick Cave’s barnstorming, Kylie Minogue-filled set.

Show us the Moët: it’s Moët & Chandon’s 275th birthday this year and it held a big old party at its pop-up Summer House in Grosvenor Square to celebrate, with Idris Elba spinning the decks while Tinie Tempah knocked back the fizz. Didn’t pass out, though.

Hoping for Palestine

The Roundhouse, June 4th

British children’s charity HOPING held the Hoping for Palestine benefit at The Roundhouse last week, hosted by John Bishop. The charity is raising awareness for the Palestinian children refugees that they support. The concert was headlined by London indie band The Libertines, with other artists such as icon Thurston Moore, NME Award winner Loyle Carner and there were illuminations from Eric Cantona and Frankie Boyle. The benefit was attended by the likes of Woody Harrelson, Adwoa Aboah and the queen herself, Claire Foy.
