When celebrating a wedding anniversary most men, assuming they remember it, might reach for a bunch of flowers, or perhaps even make a dinner reservation.

Not Jamie Oliver.

To mark his and Jools’ 18th wedding anniversary, the Naked Chef decided to design his wife an exclusive, limited edition pair of hi-tops.

“Jools and I were about to celebrate our 18th wedding anniversary and I had no idea what to give her,” says Oliver. “We share an obsession for old school, vintage Hi tops and I thought how cool it would be to design a bespoke pair for her!”

Partnering with London-based sneakers company Seven Feet Apart, whose trainers he already wears and loves, Oliver created a pair of white and turquoise high tops for his lovely wife.

He and the team were however so pleased with the outcome of the style, named the JO-18, they decided to create a limited edition, unisex range of 400 pairs of the sneakers in a different yellow colourway, both high and low top, which is now available to shop online.

“I absolutely loved the whole process and decided to share the love a little wider and make a few more,” says Oliver. “It was so much fun and I hope people love them as much as I do!”

Handcrafted from the finest Italian leather and handmade in Portugal, the 400 trainers (hi-tops for £189.00 and low-tops for £169.00) come in an all-white and a yellow and white colourway, and are, according to Oliver, “the most comfortable trainers on the planet.”

Honestly Jamie, we're pretty impressed with your skills.
