The weather wasn't on the side of racegoers arriving at Grand National Ladies Day 2019, but that didn't dampen their spirits, or their style.

Despite the chilly temperatures, the women of Liverpool championed a range of dress silhouettes for the occasion, the majority in bright, bold hues.

Continuing the trend from Cheltenham Ladies Day back in March, tonal ensembles were a huge hit once again with many ladies wearing the same shade from head-to-toe.

There is no set dress code at Aintree Racecourse, but fancy headgear was out in force nonetheless.
