The 2026 BAFTA awards have officially wrapped up! And what a thoroughly stylish and eventful awards ceremony it was.
One Battle After Another continued its winning streak, taking home six gongs in total, including best film, director and adapted screenplay. Vampire epic Sinners was next in line, taking home three awards, while Shakespearean-themed tearjerker Hamnet took home two.

The Prince and Princess of Wales were also in attendance, watching on from their front row seats while wearing coordinating burgundy accessories. Kate donned a pink gown by Gucci for the occasion, while William wore a velvet blazer by Giorgio Armani.
Leonardo DiCaprio attending the 79th British Academy Film Awards (James Manning/PA)PA WireUp-and-coming English actor Robert Aramayo (I Swear) made quite the splash by beating out multiple Hollywood heavyweights for the Best Actor award, including Leonardo DiCaprio (One Battle After Another), Ethan Hawke (Blue Moon), Timothée Chalamet (Marty Supreme), Michael B Jordan (Sinners) and Jesse Plemons (Bugonia).
The 33-year-old Hull-born actor recently revealed in The Independent that he found out about his BAFTA nomination while doing the dishes. I Swear follows the journey of disability campaigner John Davidson, who grew up with Tourette's syndrome in the 1980s.
Robert Aramayo accepted the Bafta for EE Rising Star (Ian West/PA)PA WireAramayo also claimed the prestigious BAFTA Rising Star Award — one of the biggest commendations a newcomer actor can receive (aside from winning Best Actor, of course). He was nominated alongside Miles Caton (Sinners), Chase Infiniti (One Battle After Another), Archie Madekwe (Lurker) and Posy Sterling (Lollipop).
For the ceremony, Aramayo wore a Dior black wool peak lapel cropped double-breasted jacket with matching pants, a white cotton wing collar shirt, a white silk bow tie and a pair of black leather derbies.
Chase Infiniti wearing Louis VuittonPA WireOther standout red carpet moments came from Teyana Taylor (fork found in kitchen), who arrived wearing a dramatic brown Burberry gown with a collar that engulfed half of her face, and One Battle After Another costar Chase Infiniti, whose suspended sculptural hemline truly stole the show.
The BAFTA 2026 Film Awards were hosted by beloved Scottish actor and presenter Alan Cumming, who also hosted the 2025 BAFTA Television Awards.
