Homes and Property | Home PageStudios gives teenagers role in moviesMiranda Bryant12 April 2012A group of teenagers are being mentored by top film-makers to help them get jobs in the industry.Under the scheme, 10 Londoners from ethnic minority backgrounds have been on a tour of Pinewood Studios with James Bond producer Barbara Broccoli.They visited one of the Harry Potter sets and the underwater set where Casino Royale, The Da Vinci Code, and Elizabeth: The Golden Age were filmed.The students will also be offered industry placements at the world-famous studios.Organisers First Light said they hoped the scheme, called Second Light, would improve diversity in the British film industry and make it more accessible.MORE ABOUTDrama ActionEva GreenHarry PotterJames Bond
