Cliff joins the line-up

Sir Cliff Richard will appear at the concert in Trafalgar Square on 8 May to mark the 60th anniversary of VE Day.

Daniel Bedingfield and Richard E Grant will also join Will Young and Katie Melua at the event, to be broadcast live on BBC1.

Sir Cliff said: "It gives us a chance to say thanks to those who gave their lives for us." There will be live music and readings from the private letters and diaries of soldiers.
