ART shows have become commonplace in historic houses, from Chatsworth to Sudeley Castle. Now a new scheme hopes to open them to contemporary music.
London new music producers Sounduk have joined forces with cellist Natalie Clein and commissioned new work from Fyfe Dangerfield, of the Guillemots, and writer Jeanette Winterson for a project called Resonances, which kicks off on Sunday at the Wallace Collection. Maija Handover of Sounduk said: "We felt that historic houses are evocative spaces. It was time for a contemporary music project to give people a chance to experience them through new music."
