The reopening of Lea Bridge train station after 30 years has helped lift the veil on an area benefiting from regeneration at neighbouring Stratford and Tottenham.

A new scheme of 300 homes, Motion, a minute’s walk from the station, is part of Waltham Forest borough’s “mini Holland” network of cycle and footpaths linking with Lee Valley Regional Park, Walthamstow Wetlands and Hackney Marshes.

Art Deco-style mansion blocks are being built around landscaped courtyards, while the higher apartments have panoramic views of inner and outer London. The project is a partnership between Peabody and developer Hill.
