Hundreds of plants from a Chelsea Flower Show display have been donated to build a scented garden at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital to thank NHS staff.
The garden, revealed today, has been created in three days, with large topiary domes, pyramids, a tree canopy and scented flowering — making a “calming retreat”.
It was donated by the Amaffi Perfume House, in Knightsbridge, and planted by RHS ambassador Jamie Butterworth.
The annual flower show, usually held in the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea, has been cancelled but fans are able to tour the event from their own homes — via the via the Royal Horticultural Society website.
