Famous London restaurants: Céleste at The Lanesborough

The backstory: Céleste is at the heart of The Lanesborough's glamorous revamp. Eric Frechon, Paris’ three Michelin-starred chef, has brought his protégé Florian Favario to London to lead the hotel into a new culinary era. Florian was Eric’s chef at Le Bristol in Paris and fuses his French influence with British ingredients for this role.

Who goes there? An A-list guestlist means this is a hotspot for celebritiy spotting. Madonna and Leonardo DiCaprio regularly stay at the hotel. Rita Ora is rumoured to be partial to a cocktail there too.

What's on the menu? Risotto, roasted cod and Mille-Feuille are on the lunch menu. Or splash out on the blue lobster followed by Guanaja chocolate for pudding.

Cheque out: The set lunch menu is priced at £28 for two courses (£36 for three). The five-course tasting menu is £85 per person or expect to pay around £120 for three a la carte courses.
