The chef behind the country’s only gastropub to be awarded two Michelin stars has finally announced plans to bring his cooking to the capital.
Tom Kerridge runs the renowned Hand & Flowers in Marlow with his wife, and also owns nearby pub The Coach.
His as yet unnamed London restaurant, which is due to launch next year in the five-star Jumeirah Carlton Tower hotel, will be his third.
It will replace The Rib Room which has been in the hotel since 1961.
It follows a pop-up from the chef down the road at Harrod’s last summer.

Kerridge, who has presented both Food and Drink and Bake Off: Crème de la Crème for BBC Two, said: “We are thrilled and honoured to be opening in London at this landmark location in Knightsbridge and we will be revealing more details on our plans early next year.”
