Pop-up turned permanent Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen residency Smokey Tails will launch a new breakfast menu later this month — and it’s giving it away free on the day to celebrate.

The foodie favourite, which was co-founded by Michigan-born DJ Seth Troxler and serves Midwestern-style barbecue dishes will start serving breakfasts at its Hoxton base from July 25.

This will include beef brisket hash with eggs and horseradish, fried chicken and gravy, Midwest biscuit and the Smokey Tails Muffin, featuring egg, twice-smoked bacon, Monterey Jack cheese and Smokey Tails’ signature barbecue sauce.

Healthier options include peanut butter and hazelnut granola with yoghurt and agave syrup, fruit salads and acai bowls.

‘Mama T’s Pancakes’ will also be on the menu, made ‘just how Mama Troxler makes ‘em’.

On the morning of its launch, the restaurant will be giving away one dish and one drink per person on a first come first served basis, so get there early to avoid missing out.

Breakfast will be served from 8am to 12pm on weekdays, and 11am to 5pm on weekends for brunch.
