Nando's to open 10 UK restaurants for dine-in on July 8 - including four locations in London

Popular restaurant chain Nando’s has revealed it will reopen 10 of its UK restaurants for dine-in service later this week.

Having already reopened more than 330 restaurants for takeaway and click-and-collect services, the "peri-peri chicken purveyor" has announced it will open a select group of restaurants for eat-in diners on July 8, the first time it will open its doors fully to customers since it was forced to close all of its sites in late March.

The 10 restaurants opening to dine-in customers span cities in England – where dining in has been permitted by the government since July 4 – and includes four locations in London.

Restaurants in Beckton, Park Royal, Bromley and Westfield London in White City will all open fully on July 8. The list also includes the Nando’s restaurant in Bluewater, located just outside the M25. More locations are expected to open to dine-in customers in the coming weeks.

Those heading to the newly reopened restaurants will be met with a new socially distanced set-up. Post-lockdown hygiene measure include reduced capacity inside restaurants; virtual systems for queuing, order placing and payment; a limit of six diners per table and cutlery and condiments being brought to the table by staff, rather than collected from stations by diners.
