Jimmy's Supper Club launches new, exclusive Olympic dining experience

Supper club host and London pop-up master Jimmy Garcia has announced his latest venture – a series of Olympic-themed events in the heart of Stratford.

Jimmy’s Supper Club will be taking over an 1800 square foot warehouse space less than 30 metres from the Olympic Park to host a month long residency of fine dining experiences.

After six years experience in a twice rosette-winning restaurant, and cooking on private super-yachts, the Southwest Supper Club was born in Jimmy’s Balham home as an underground pop-up restaurant. Initially cooking for 25 people on his hobs at home, the Southwest Supper Club now pops up in art galleries (such as Arthaus, Hackney), cafés and wine shops across London, providing fine dining experiences in intimate, but often unfamiliar surroundings.

Held at ANNEX EAST, Jimmy will offer his own spin on classic dishes at a programme of events starting on July 20.

From the Olympic Opening Ceremony Party with Champagne reception, to Dodgeball & Dinner and special Film & Feast screenings of Cool Runnings, Blade of Glory and Chariots of Fire, this pop-up is certainly eclectic.

There will also be live music and DJ’s, fine art exhibitions and gallery shows, a custom designed cocktail bar and big screen coverage of all the Olympic action.
