Over the past few months, the glitter pizza trend has taken the US by storm but next week it’s coming across the pond and won’t cost a penny.
On Saturday July 14, East Village will be giving out free glitter pizza from 11am at their fifth annual summer fête.
The folks behind the pop-up are even letting customers customise their pizza slice with their own glitter designs. Naturally, the glitter in question is edible, comes in a range of colours and there'll even be stencils for hardcore creatives to decorate their shimmering slice.
Pizzas will come in two different flavours, one a Margherita, and one a sweet offering, the inedible-sounding mascarpone and white chocolate. In total, just 200 pizzas will be handed out.
Disclaimer: you may find glitter in your teeth for weeks after – but it’ll be worth it for the 'gram.
