Candice Brown, winner of The Great British Bake Off, will be one of the star attractions at a food festival in Shoreditch.
The baker will give a 45-minute demonstration of how to make a personalised showstopper Christmas cake at the Foodies Festival, held at The Old Truman Brewery in Brick Lane.
She will be joined at the event by Jane Devonshire, this year’s MasterChef winner, and Adam Simmonds, of the Great British Menu. The three-day festival will also feature Christmas food workshops and an artisan market.

Ms Brown, 31, from Bedfordshire, said: “It’s so exciting to be asked to come along and do what I love most, and to be making my London debut so close to home.”
