Hackney’s Yard Sale Pizza is familiar with unorthadox toppings, having recently offered both a pastrami calzone and a haggis pizza.
The next unusual offering is even more fusion-tastic — the team have joined up with street foodies White Men Can’t Jerk to create a jerk chicken pizza. Yes, you read right: a jerk chicken pizza.
The Just Jerkin’ pizza will feature a base of jerk gravy mixed with a little of Yard Sale’s slow-cooked tomato sauce, topped with thin slices of White Men Can’t Jerk’s signature smokey BBQ jerk chicken.
It will then be lavished with mozzarella, callaloo leaf and a little pineapple scotch bonnet jam, along with optional home-pickled scotch bonnet peppers for those who like things hot.

The limited edition pizza will be available from Thursday 24 to Monday 28 March at Yard Sale Pizza’s base close to Hackney Central station.
It will cost £11 for a 12” individual pizza or £18 for an 18” sharer.
