This ingenious finger biscuit lets you dip your finger into the Nutella jar...to which we hear the universal cry of ‘why haven't we heard of this before?!’Genius: Finger biscuitsPaolo Ulian

If you’ve ever been caught with your hand in the Nutella jar, this biscuit invention may be for you.

Inspired by the finger-licking goodness of the chocolate and hazelnut spread, Italian designer Paolo Ulian has designed a biscuit that sits snugly on the tip of your finger, allowing you to dunk into the tub to your heart’s content.

The biscuits are a thimble shape, and are designed to stop Nutella fanatics from getting sticky fingers after caving to the temptation of eating straight from the jar.

But the novel invention isn’t just for Nutella, health-conscious biscuit-lovers can also dunk them into everything from peanut butter to almond spread.

Astoundingly, the finger biscuit concept was first introduced at the Pappila exhibition in Bolzano/Milan in 2004, but they are still yet to be brought to market. But here’s hoping someone gets to manufacturing them asap... do we smell a kickstarter coming on?
