Spiralizers entered the public lexicon in the spring of 2014 - and have been a health food staple ever since.
The idea behind them is simple: they 'spiralise' vegetables (traditionally sweet potatoes and courgettes) into spaghetti-type formations, creating a healthier alternative to pasta.
This recipe combines the courgetti with chilli-garlic pastes, hoisin sauce and seasame oil to make a delicious and easy after-work dinner. Bulk it up by adding in more vegetables or enjoy it as is.
Note: if you don't have a spiralizer, you can buy packets of the veggie noodles at your local supermarket.
