The Standard has gone behind the scenes at the Sea Life London Aquarium to discover which animal has been named after a former Mayor of London and check out the view from underwater.
Boris the sea turtle is around a metre and half in length and weighs approximately 130 kilograms, living on a diet of greens such as lettuce, cucumber and broccoli.
He’s also a favourite of Beth England, who works as an Education Host at the Aquarium and showed us the highlights and some surprising secrets – including the stars of Finding Nemo.
She told the Standard: “Clown fish are actually all born male – there are no baby female clown fish out there.

“What happens is, when the female of the group dies, the biggest, most dominant male will actually transform into a female, which is absolutely fascinating.
“So in the film it would actually be a completely different scenario, looking back at Finding Nemo, where unfortunately Nemo’s mum did die – it actually would’ve been Marlin that turned into Nemo’s mum.
