A version of ping pong for the digital age has been launched at a chain of table tennis bars in London.

Bounce, with venues in Farringdon and Old Street, has unveiled Wonderball, which uses projection and laser-mapping technology to track a special ball — lighting up its trajectory and the spot where it bounces on “techno tables”.

Bounce founder and CEO Adam Breeden said: “This is the first digital evolution of the game since Pong ...Wonderball is changing the game for us.”
