Lady Gaga is no stranger to a showstopping entrance, but her Met Gala 2019 arrival is one of her most memorable to date.
Embracing the ball's theatrical Camp: Notes on Fashion theme, the 33-year-old donned not one, not two, but four outfits in a dramatic performance on the museum steps.
The musician arrived in a billowing pink gown with dramatic sleeves, big bows and sweeping train, which was so long it was carried by numerous tuxedo-clad men holding black umbrellas.
However, the voluminous gown by Brandon Maxwell didn't remain the focus for long.
It was removed to reveal a contrasting sleek black dress, which accented Lady Gaga's doll-like makeup and dramatic gold eyelashes.
The sartorial drama and spectacle then continued as she uncovered a fitted column fuchsia pink gown. Gaga even added new accessories of oversized sunglasses and a retro mobile phone.
Then came the grand finale, as Gaga stripped down to diamante-adorned back lingerie, matching fishnet tights and boots.
The star also pulled along a custom trolley with Haus of Gaga adorned on the side, which contained boxes filled with wide-brim hats and bottles of bubbly from Brandon Maxwell's spring/summer 2019 show.
