US actor Dean Cain has revealed he would love to reprise his role as Superman for a Lois and Clark reunion.
Cain, 46, played the superhero alongside Teri Hatcher in the popular 90s series, Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.
Speaking to Standard Online, Cain said he would return to the series in a “heartbeat”.
“I would love to see a Lois and Clarke reunion happen,” he said. “I would like to close the loop. We left it open ended. I would do it in a heartbeat.”
Speaking about Hatcher, he said: "She’s the greatest actress to play that character."

Cain – who is currently on Channel 4’s The Jump – said he would love a cameo role in a Superman film, but said he hasn’t been asked.
“They haven’t asked me at all,” he said. “They haven’t said a word to me. If they ask me it would be a lot of fun. I love when Stan Lee appears in different things.”

He also praised current Superman incarnation Henry Cavill, saying: “I met Henry Cavill – big guy – really nice. He does a very good job. It’s a different incarnation of the character. I wish him well and I’ll certainly go and see Batman V Superman – I know who I’m rooting for.”
