Ever since Orange is the New Black Season 4 ended on a major cliffhanger, fans have been clamouring for the show’s return.

Now we know when it will be back on Netflix – and it’s only a few months away.

All episodes of Season 5 will be joining the online streaming service on June 9.

The date was confirmed in a short teaser video on the series’ official Twitter page, with the ominous caption: “There’s no turning back.”

Season 5 of the comedy drama, set in a women’s prison, is expected to go into even darker territory.

The last instalment ended with inmate Daya pointing a gun at the head of sociopathic guard Humphrey as a riot began to kick off among her fellow prisoners.

The new series is reportedly set over the course of just three days, and will chart the events that follow as the Litchfield inmates revolt.
