Katie Price has said she is trying to rebuild her life after admitting “things have hit rock bottom”.

The former model has had a turbulent few months after a suffering a series of financial woes and a stint in rehab for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

But the 40-year-old has confirmed that her reality series My Crazy Life will return to screens with two specials this year.

Price said: “Things have really hit rock bottom since the last series of My Crazy Life a few months ago. But the only way is up.

“It’s time to get my life back on track and be the best mum in the world for my kids. I’m excited to get back to doing what I love and to tell my side of the story for the first time.”

The first special will air on Monday, November 12, and will show Price coming to terms with her PTSD diagnosis and seeking treatment. The second special will air in December.

The new 12-part series comes months after it was reported that her reality show was in danger of being axed by Quest Red.

Sources claimed that the fly-on-the-wall documentary was in jeopardy before it was “difficult to put any regular arrangements” in place.

Reports by The Sun claimed that while the first two series had been a ratings success, it would be hard to do a third following her life as a mother.

Price shares Jett, five and Bunny, four with her estranged third husband Kieran Hayler. She is also mum to Harvey, 16, Junior, 13 and Princess, 11.

Price returned to Instagram after a seven-week break to share snaps of her two youngest children celebrating Halloween with her mum Amy.
