I’m a Celebrity bosses are reportedly underwhelmed with Kez Dugdale’s performance, after forking out a six-figure fee for her to appear on this year’s show.
ITV producers are thought to be unhappy with the politician after fans branded her “boring” and a “let-down” after she joined campmates in the jungle last week.
Instead of drumming up some drama and political debate, the former Scottish Labour leader has been keeping to herself in the camp.
“Kezia has been a massive letdown,” a show insider told The Sun. “She hasn’t bonded particularly well with other campmates and doesn’t see herself as part of that showbiz world, she has been acting superior.

“Far from coming out of her shell, she hasn’t broken from her politician mode once or shown a softer side, letting her personality come through.”
Good sport? Kez Dugdale has had to endure a number of challengesITVWhile her fellow late arrival, Iain Lee, made waves in the camp during his time as Prime Minister, Dugdale is yet to stir up any excitement.
Bosses were also unimpressed with her lacklustre involvement in this week’s live trail, in which she dropped out of halfway through.
"Bosses were also ticked off with the live trial - they thought she was a bad sport,” said the insider.
Leaving Lee to win the point for her team, Dugdale refused to drink a ‘smoothie’ of blended bull’s penis.
