Eamonn Holmes was forced to present Good Morning Britain in Piers Morgan’s suit after losing his luggage.

The host, who was filling in for regular anchor Morgan, revealed he wasn’t just trying out his ITV colleague’s job but trying on his clothes.

Kate Garraway who was filling in for Susanna Reid, told viewers that Holmes was ‘angry’ before asking him to explain why.

"I'm having to wear Piers Morgan's suit today, I've got no clothes," Holmes replied.

Garraway took the opportunity to poke fun at Morgan, laughing: "It looks a bit baggy on you.”

"And then you get a bit more humble and think, 'Please make it come', then you pray and then there's just you and one other person standing there and you say, 'Has yours not arrived either?'"

Holmes was flying back from his Easter break with wife and presenting partner Ruth Langsford and joked that he was glad the airline hadn’t lost Langsford’s luggage.
