Dancing On Ice viewers were left shocked as it was revealed that there will be a double elimination in week seven.

At the end of Sunday night’s show, with Lemar Obika leaving, hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield announced that two celebrities will be eliminated from the skating show next week.

Fans were quickly on social media discussing next week’s dramatic change, but were pleased to see the skate-off shake-up, already expressing their excitement.

As news spread backstage, Kem Cetinay - who is competing in the current series - was surprised by the “massive twist in the tail”, as told to him by professional Hamish Gaman.

Cetinay’s Love Week skate to One Direction’s That What Makes You Beautiful saw him in a tie for third place with Max Evans as pal Jake Quickenden sat pretty at the top of the leaderboard after scoring 33.5.

Elsewhere, Alex Beresford mounted a comeback as he and partner Brianne Delcourt scored 29.5 for their skate to All of Me by John Legend to sit second in the table.

Joint bottom were the two Coronation Street stars - Antony Cotton and Brooke Vincent - with 21 each for their respective skates.

Having fallen foul of the public vote once again, Obika performed a different routine to his Grenade skate, instead skating to Viva La Vida by Coldplay.
