Celebrity Big Brother has been hit with over 1000 complaints less than a week after launching.
Emma Willis welcomed 13 famous faces onto the Channel 5 show on Thursday night, but use of offensive language and controversial tasks have sparked 1038 complaints.
Rodrigo Alves received 985 after he used the n-word in a conversation with Dan Osborne, Natalie Nunn, Gabby Allen and Roxanne Pallett.
Alves made the comment while ogling Osborne. He said: “You’re not my type anyway. Look at this. I like a n***** boy. He’s too white for my taste.”

He was told: “Rodrigo, before you entered the Big Brother house, the rules regarding unacceptable language and behaviour were explained to you.

“Rodrigo, this word is highly offensive, and very likely to cause offence to both your housemates and the viewing public.”

A spokesperson for Ofcom told Standard Online: “We will assess these complaints against our broadcasting code before a decision is made whether to investigate.”

Some 16 complaints were also received over Sunday night’s ‘wall task’ which saw housemates challenged with building a wall brandished with the American flag to replicate President Trump’s Mexican border demands.
Nunn complained and initially refused to take part, with viewers branding the task “offensive”.
