Misty: Daniel Kaluuya, Arinzé Kene and Anthony WelshAngela NeilArinzé Kene’s critically acclaimed play Misty is to extend its West End run into November.
Following a sold out run at the Bush Theatre in March, Misty transferred to the West End on September 8 and was due to close on October 20.
But following the audience response, Trafalgar Studios has extended the run time until November 17.
Actors Daniel Kaluuya and Anthony Welsh joined Kene on stage after yesterday’s show for a Q&A, in which they discussed Misty and its impact, announcing the play's extension.

After the performance Kaluuya said: ‘I love Misty. When Arinzé asked Anthony and I to host a night around it, we wanted to celebrate it and get as many people talking about it as possible.’
Misty, which is a mix of theatre, gig and performance poetry, has been heralded for bringing new audiences to the West End.
