Secret Cinema are to kick of their 2017 season with flamboyant spectacle Moulin Rouge!
Baz Luhrmann’s 2001 smash, which starred Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman, will be screened at a secret location in London from Valentine’s Day, February 14, until April 30.
Tickets are now on sale and can be bought here.
Guests will be immersed in Paris circa 1899 as Secret Cinema recreate the world of the film, which was set in and around Montmartre.

It’s expected there will be sing-alongs and plenty of dancing. The film, which was nominated for eight Oscars and won two, tells the love story of a young poet (McGregor) who falls in love with a cabaret actress and courtesan (Kidman).
2016 was a busy year for Secret Cinema, who showed 28 Days Later, Dirty Dancing and – as the Standard correctly guessed – Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb.
