Da Vinci Code follow-up planned

Da Vinci Code author Dan Brown's first religious thriller, Angels and Demons, is set to get the movie treatment.

A writer has been asked by film studio Sony to adapt the book, it is reported today.

The Da Vinci Code, starring Tom Hanks and directed by Ron Howard, opened to terrible reviews but box office figures show it took £9.5 million in its first weekend sending it straight to the top of the UK charts.
