Churchill film strikes back

A British spoof film which strikes back at Hollywood for rewriting history to suit its movies will hit cinemas next month.

Churchill: The Hollywood Years stars US actor Christian Slater as a bazooka-toting Lt Winston Churchill, who single-handedly steals the German Enigma coding machine before arriving to save Britain from the Nazis.

Producer Jonathan Cavendish said: 'The film is over the top on purpose. There has to be no room for doubt.'

It was shot on the Isle of Man and in Devon.
