A new trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp has been revealed, and it looks like Marvel fans are in for a real treat this summer.
We see Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly team up in the two lead roles in the action-packed clip, which bodes well for the release of the film on August 3, 2018.
Lilly’s Hope Van Dyne the Wasp pulls on the suit for the first time and kicks some serious ass in the trailer.
The first film was a fun, size-shifting take on the superhero blockbuster, and on this evidence the new film looks no different.
Ant-Man and the Wasp shrink to diminutive sizes in the clip, and while entire skyscrapers are shrunk to the size of a briefcase, Pez dispensers are blown-up to enormous scales.
Lilly’s Wasp is the Marvel’s first female superhero to headline a film, and she’s kitted out with “wings and blasters” in the clip.
Michelle Pfeiffer, Michael Douglas and Walton Goggins also star in the Peyton Reed-directed movie.
