Analysts at Peel Hunt said they were increasing full-year forecasts for the firm as "trading continues to be very positive" and that strong sales showed "improved margins and higher royalties than expected".
Other toymakers, such as US-listed Hasbro, owner of Monopoly and Play-Doh, have also performed well in recent months. Hasbro has seen its share price rise by more than 30% after initially crashing in March.
Games Workshop's half-year report is expected on January 12.
