Disney is hiring an intern to help it counter terrorism and beat hackers

Wannabe spooks are being courted by an unusual prospective employer – theme park operator and movie maker Disney.

The intern will be expected to assist with threat assessments and help determine the best options to “counter both existing and future threats or emerging technology”.

Disney is looking for candidates studying for or who have recently graduated with a degree in politics, national security or regional or cultural studies for the job nased in Burbank, California and starting next spring.

Other than that candidates need only be proficient in Microsoft Office, internet savvy, have superior writing and research skills, be aware of global politics and be a team player.

The job ad does not specify a salary but is billed as a professional internship.
