Today, there is also Isis and Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
It reinforces his thesis as “a constantly changing environment denies the satisfaction of a permanent fix”. And “an organisation must be constantly led, or if necessary, pushed uphill toward what it must be. Stop pushing and it doesn’t continue or rest in place; it rolls backward”.
I could listen to McChrystal forever.
I just hope others, in more important places — governmental, military and corporate — are also listening.
