In Europe jobs will be available in R&D centres in Germany, Ireland, The Netherlands, Poland, Romania and Spain and across its 'fulfilment' network.
The hiring spree follows rapid growth in the company's European workforce in recent years.
Last year it added 10,000 permanent roles - a 50% increase year-on-year.
