Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt lands presenting job on Capital Radio

Gogglebox regular Scarlett Moffatt has been entertaining viewers with her funny commentary on TV shows – and now she’s taking her talent to the radio.

The Durham born star of the Channel 4 show will join the Capital North East Breakfast Show on Monday.

She is stepping in to replace JoJo as she takes her maternity leave.

Excited to be joining presenters Bodg and Matt, Moffatt said: “I’m a regular listener to Capital Breakfast and I can’t believe I’m actually going to be presenting the show I wake up to each morning!”

Capital North East’s Managing Editor Giles Tanner said: “We are delighted to have Scarlett joining the team. She’s a local girl with a love for hit music and showbiz gossip – she has already fitted in with the team and we are all excited about Monday’s show.”
