Standard Sport assesses the individual performances from Arsenal's narrow 3-2 victory over Brighton.

Following surprise defeats to Chelsea and Tottenham in the FA Cup this weekend, Arsenal can feel mighty relieved to overcome this hurdle and reach the fifth round.

Like Chelsea on Saturday, the Gunners raced into a two-goal lead at the Amex Stadium, before the hosts showed a degree of fighting spirit lost to them in the Championship so far this season.

First Theo Walcott, and then Mesut Ozil, put Arsenal into a comfortable two-goal lead, which remained until the second half with the Gunners looking comfortable.

But Sam Baldock struck after Tomas Rosicky had extended Arsenal's lead to 3-1, following Chris O'Grady's goal, to put Arsene Wenger's mend under pressure, but the FA Cup holders held on to their lead to progress to the next round.
