Dowie: Palace can hold key to title race

Iain Dowie has challenged his team to play a part in the Premiership title race.

Crystal Palace play second-placed Manchester United at Selhurst Park on Saturday and then go to Chelsea.

The top two will be expecting regulation wins against a relegation-threatened team, but Dowie has different ideas and believes leaders Chelsea could still slip up.

He said: "I think there are a few twists and turns to come and United will go very close. It would be great if we could have a say in the title race. We certainly hope to have an impact for the sake of our club."
