The 68-year-old – real name Marvin Lee Aday – dropped his microphone and fell to the ground mid song during his show.
In a video posted on Twitter, the Bat Out of Hell singer can be seen leaning to one side before he lets his microphone stand fall to the floor and shortly afterwards puts his hands out to break his fall.
His bandmates rushed to his aid and fans were asked to leave the Jubilee Auditorium when medical staff arrived shortly after 9.30pm local time.
