A man has been charged with sexually assaulting a 15-year-old boy in east London.

Wileslaw Choroszkiewicz, 43, was charged with sexual assault following an incident on July 2.

He will set to appear in custody at Romford Magistrates’ Court on Friday.

A 15-year-old was approached on the 179 bus near Ilford station at around 7pm, the Met said.

The suspect followed the victim and sat next to him, allegedly trying to engage the victim in sexual conversation which he ignored.

The suspect sexually touched the boy, who was wearing a school uniform, several times.

The boy filmed the suspect on his phone and got off of the bus around 20 minutes later.

He told his mother, who alerted the police and passed the footage onto the force.

In a statement, the Met said: “A man has been charged following an incident of sexual assault involving a 15-year-old boy on a bus in Ilford on 2 July.

“The charge follows an appeal for information that was circulated by police on Wednesday, 21 July.”
