The Crush: Aaron Taylor-Johnson

Ever since it became OK for adults to fancy One Direction we’ve been casting our crush net wider to include catches born in the 1990s. Sadly, the boy we’d really love to be our toy is already taken by a woman so smart and talented we wouldn’t even dare steal a wink. Curly-haired cutie Aaron Taylor-Johnson is the thinking girl’s Harry Styles, so his marriage to Sam Taylor-Wood filled us with mixed emotions, particularly when he changed his name to Taylor-Johnson, which is just the sort of pro-feminist thing our dream man would do.

It would have been wrong to lust after Aaron when he played a dishy schoolboy in Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging four years ago, but by the time he was smouldering as Lennon in Nowhere Boy and kicking ass in Kick-Ass, he was totes up for grabs. While he’s precocious and has a tendency to take himself rather seriously, we don’t actually care because this ‘old soul’ stuck in a lithe young body is really, really good looking. Shame he hung on to the Anna Karenina blond hair and ’tache’ for so long. He must have thought it made him look older, which, sorry, Aaron, is really not the point.
