The 570GT’s 562bhp 3.8-litre twin-turbo V8 is the same as in the 570S, although this car itself is slightly heavier, at 1350kg. Despite the slightly softer spring set-up (15% front and 10% rear), however, it’s still breathtakingly fast, and the performance and handling clearly remain track focused. Further enhancements to make this more comfortable McLaren more mileage-friendly include a glovebox, storage bin and side-hinged rear hatch.
