In Pictures: Piecha Jaguar F-Type

At the front there are new wings which, according to Piescha, are ‘reminiscent of Jaguar’s motorsports heritage’. They’re certainly more prominent. Streaming back from these are new sideskirts to connect front and rear. All of these items can be put on or off as the mood takes you since they attach to the same mountings as the original panels.

But it’s the overall image which so catches the eye. The car squats lower, the wheel arches look fuller, it just looks meaner.

The F-Type was never a retiring violet exactly, but this version really does see Piescha Design in touch with its ancient warrior past. Think more Germania tribe than trendy steel-rimmed glasses. And don’t think of the price, because they haven’t announced one, nor discussed what they’ve done under the bonnet, but its attractions are legion.
